Metro rail on Agargaon-Motijheel section halted

Metro rail operations on the Agargaon-Motijheel section was halted temporarily on Wednesday (September 18) due to some technical issues.

The train operations were suspended from 9:40 am.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) confirmed the disruption.

Metro rail staff were also seen announcing the issue through microphones.

DMTCL Director (Operations and Maintenance) Nasir Uddin Ahmed said that there is a big problem on that route. It will take time to fix. For now, the train operation continues on Agargaon-Uttara route.
