Salman, Anisul, Palak shown arrested in 3 more murder cases

A Dhaka court has granted an application to show former prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s adviser Salman F Rahman arrested in connection with two murder cases filed with Badda police station and one with Khilgaon police station.

The court also granted an application to show former law minister Anisul Huq and former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak arrested in three separate murder cases filed with Badda police station and granted another application to arrest former IGP Abdullah Al Mamun in connection with two murder cases filed with the same police station.

Following the hearing on Wednesday (September 18), Metropolitan Magistrate Zaki Al Farabi’s court granted the application for their arrests in the various cases. After the hearing, the accused were returned to jail.

After 8am, the accused were brought from jail to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court in Dhaka. They were kept in the CMM jail before being presented in court. Later, hearing was held in presence of the accused to show them arrested.

Police requested the court to show the arrests of these individuals in connection with multiple cases.
