Proposal to fix age limit for govt jobs at 35 years

The cabinet division has proposed fixing the age ceiling for entry into government service at 35 years and retirement age at 65 years.

A letter, signed by Joint Secretary Md. Sajjadul Hasan and sent from the cabinet division, confirmed the information on Wednesday (September 18).

“The letter received from the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association is sent herewith for the purpose of raising the age limit for entry into government service to 35 years and retirement age to 65 years,” according to the cabinet division letter.

Mentionable, job seekers have been demanding for a long time to fix the age ceiling for entering government service at 35 years.
