‘Giving magistracy power to army will brings good results’

Senior Secretary to the public administration ministry Md Mokhlesur Rahman has said giving magistracy power to army will bring good results.

The senior secretary said this while talking to newsmen at his Secretariat office on Wednesday (September 18).

“The people will reap benefit of bestowing the magistracy power upon the commissioned officers of Bangladesh Army. This power has been given so that people can move freely and fell secure” he said.

The said the law enforcement agencies have lack of manpower and the magistracy power has given to the Army to fill up the gap.
