Khaleda Zia returns home from hospital

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has returned to her Gulshan residence after receiving treatment and necessary checkups at Evercare Hospital in the capital.

She (Khaleda) was discharged from the hospital as per the advice of the medical board and reached her Gulshan residence at around 7:15pm on Wednesday.

BNP’s press wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the matter quoting AZM Zahid Hossain, Khaleda's personal physician and a BNP standing committee member.

“The board has made the decision after reviewing her health and the latest medical reports,” he said.
Khaleda has long been battling various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, and issues related to her kidney, lung, heart, and eyes.
