Anisul Haque, Salman F Rahman put on fresh 5-day remand

A Dhaka court placed former law minister Anisul Huq, and former prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s private industry affairs adviser Salman F Rahman, on five-day fresh remands in a money laundering case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Arifur Rahman passed the remand order after the hearing on Thursday (September 19).

Earlier, they were produced before the court. Then investigation officer SI Md Rashidul Hasan sought seven-day remand for questioning after showing them arrested in the case.

On September 13, Newmarket police station Sub-Inspector Md Sajib Mia filed the case.
