Metro rail`s Friday schedule announced

The Dhaka metro rail will run every Friday from now on. However, the metro rail run following a specific schedule on that day.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) said metro rail will run from Uttara North to Motijheel from 3:30 pm to 9 pm. The trains will run from 3:50 pm to 9:40 pm from Motijheel to Uttara North.

Earlier, metrorail movement on the Agargaon-Motijheel route was suspended from 9:40 am on Wednesday after a bearing pad of the viaduct shifted on pillar number 430 near Farmgate station.

Later, the metro rail movement from Uttara North to Motijheel resumed at 8:25 pm after solving the technical glitch.
