Dr Yunus expected to meet Biden at UNGA

Chief Adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus is expected to meet US President Joe Biden while attending the final phase of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 27.

However, he is not expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the margins of the UNGA session next week.

Besides, Dr Yunus is also expected to meet the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Apart from this, Muhammad Yunus will have a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, and the President and Prime Minister of the Netherlands and Nepal.

Bangladesh Mission to the United Nations and the United Nations Secretariat have confirmed the information.
