All govt officials must submit their wealth statement by Dec 31

Senior Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration Md Mokhlesur Rahman said that the government officials and employees will have to submit their wealth statement by December 21 every year.

He said this while addressing a press briefing at secretariate on Sunday (September 22).

The secretary said that the government officials and employees have to submit their assets report by December 31 every year. However, this deadline is November 30 for this year [2024].

Through this decision, 15 lakh government employees’ assets will be documented, he added.
