Baitul Mukarram Khatib Ruhul Amin relieved from post

The government has removed Hafez Maulana Mufti Ruhul Amin, the Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque from his position.

A notification signed by the ministry of religious affairs secretary Md. Abu Bakar Siddique confirmed the matter on Sunday (September 22).

The Khatib has been removed from the post following the proper process, said the notice.
