Yunus, Biden meet in New York on Tuesday

Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus is going to attend the 79th annual general assembly of UN in New York.

He will have a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly on Tuesday (September 24).

In the last three decades, there is no instance of any meeting between the head of state or government of Bangladesh with the US president on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. Even the bilateral meeting between the US President and the top leader of a country during the session of the UN General Assembly is almost rare. The US President's meeting with Dr. Yunus is almost final this time.

If everything remains okay, the chief adviser will be meeting President Joe Biden on Tuesday noon (September 24).
