Mozammel Babu sent to jail after remand

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Saiful Islam passed the order rejecting his bail prayer on Monday (September 23).

Investigation officer Md Payel Hossain produced him before the court after a seven-day remand.

On September 5, the victim’s father, filed the case against 174 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Babu and Shyamal Dutta were arrested from Mymensingh while fleeing to India. They were trying to flee to Meghalaya state of India through Dhobaura border in Mymensingh district.
