Tk 3cr bribery for DC posting, probe body formed 

Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA) has formed a one-member probe committee to investigate the allegation of Taka 3.0 crore bribery over posting of a Deputy Commissioner (DC).

The ministry issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.

According to the notification, Additional Secretary Md Rezaul Maksud Zahedy has been made chief of the probe body. Deputy Secretary Md Liakat Ali will help him.

The ministry has formed the committee following a report published in a newspaper on September 24, 2024, about offering a cheque for Tk. 3.0 crore for DC posting.
