President of Bangladesh Workers Party and former civil aviation and tourism minister Rashed Khan Menon has been sent to jail after remand in the attempted murder case of BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas.

Earlier on August 22, Menon was detained from the city’s Gulshan area in connection to a murder case.
