Ex-Swechasebak League leader Rony arrested

Police arrested a former Swechasebak League leader in connection with a case filed with Hatirjheel Police Station on August 24.

Rony, former vice-president of Turag unit Swechasebak League, was arrested from Turag on Wednesday (September 25) night.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police from Hatirjheel and Turag Police Stations conducted a drive in the area and arrested Rony on Wednesday night, according to media and public relations division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Thursday.
