7 more die of dengue 

A total of seven people died and 860 new cases were reported from different parts of the country in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.

With the latest death, the fatality count from the mosquito-borne disease rose to 148 as of Saturday from 1 January this year.

A press release sent by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said this on Saturday.

Three more deaths from dengue were reported on Thursday, said the DGHS.
