Dengue claims 8 more lives

At least eight more dengue patients died in the 24 hours till Sunday morning (September 29).

With the new deaths, the total number of deaths rose to 158.

A notification from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the matter on Sunday (September 29).

1,221 patients were attended at several hospitals across the country in last 24 hours, said DGHS.

Besides, at least 1,090 patients were discharged from hospitals in last 24 hours. The DGHS data mentioned that a total of 29,786 dengue cases have been reported since January 1, 2024.
