Bangladesh receives Tk25,000cr remittances in 28 days of Sept

Bangladesh received Tk25,000cr in remittances in the first 28 days of September, according to the latest report from Bangladesh Bank.

This inflow, equivalent to over $211.31 crore, was reported by the relevant department of the central bank on Sunday (September 29).

According to the Bangladesh Bank, the state-owned banks received $58.65 crore, while $9.25 crore came through specialised banks, $ 142.86 crore through private banks and $53.40 lakh through foreign sector banks.

Earlier, the country received $222.13 crore in remittances in August.
