Ex-DUCSU VP Mansur Ahmed taken to DB custody

The Detective Branch (DB) of police has detained former vice-president (VP) of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Sultan Mohammad Mansur Ahmed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital.

He was detained from immigration after he landed at the airport this morning from Canada.

Mansur Ahmed is currently in DB custody until filing this report on Monday (September 30) noon.

DMP’s DB chief Rezaul Karim Mallik told the media that Mansur Ahmed was detained for interrogation as there is a specific allegation against him. That’s why, he has been taken into DB custody.
