Advisers must file asset statements, gazette notification published

From now on, any adviser or other officials of equivalent ranks and their spouse must submit their income and asset statements.

The Cabinet Division published the rule in a gazette notification regarding the ‘Policy on Disclosure of Statement of Income and Assets of Interim Government Advisers and Persons of Equivalent Rank, 2024’ on Tuesday (1 October).

At the same time, if their spouses have any separate income sources, their income and asset statements must also be submitted to the chief adviser.
