Shibir’s DU unit announces 14-member committee

Islami Chhatra Shibir has announced a 14-member committee for the Dhaka University unit.

The announcement was made on the Facebook page of the university's branch of the organisation on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the post, Md Abu Shadik Kayem has been appointed as the president, with SM Farhad serving as the general secretary.

SM Farhad said their committee had been ready since January but could not be revealed earlier due to what he described as ‘oppression from the fascist government’.
