Tk 8cr goes to CA’s fund

The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has deposited Tk 8 crore collected as mass relief to the Chief Adviser's Relief Fund.

Student coordinators handed over a cheque to Disaster Management and Relief Adviser Faruk e Azam at the Secretariat on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, they released a report after an audit on the emergency relief fund raised for the flood victims at Dhaka University's TSC.

According to the report, a total of Tk 9,91,51,213 raised from the mass relief. Of the amount, Tk 8 crore has been deposited to the Chief Adviser's Relief Fund through the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, while the rest Tk 1.91 crore will be spent for the people in flood affected districts in the country's northern region.
