Rickshaw puller killing: Case filed against 26 including Hasina 

A case has been filed y against 26 people including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over the killing of rickshaw puller Moniruzzaman Moni in the capital’s Fulbaria area during the recent anti-discrimination student movement.

Victim’s sister Nilufer Yasmin filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Akteruzzaman on Thursday.

The court after recording statement of the case, ordered Shahbagh Police Station to file the matter as first information report (FIR).

The other prominent accused in the case are -Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, Habibur Rahman and Harun Ur Rashid.

Rickshaw puller Moni got shot and killed in Fulbaria area on August 5.
