17 JU coordinators resign

Seventeen coordinators and co-coordinators of the Jahangirnagar University (JU) branch have resigned from the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
The announcement was made at a press conference held at the university’s Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) on Thursday afternoon.
The resigning coordinators include Abdur Rashid Jitu, Rudra Muhammad Safiullah, Haseeb Zaman, Zahidul Islam Imon, Zahidul Islam, Fahmida Faiza, Rokaia Jannat Jhalak, Mishu Khatun, Rafid Hasan Rajon, Hasanur Rahman Sumon, Abdul Hai Swapan, Nasim Al Tariq, and Aindrila Majumdar.
Additionally, the co-coordinators who stepped down are Zia Uddin Ayan, Tanjim Ahmed, Zahidul Islam Bappi, and Saidul Islam. Abdur Rashid Jitu had been serving as the central coordinator before his resignation.
In the press conference, they cited dissatisfaction with the organization's leadership and direction.
