‘There will be no Aynaghar-Bhater Hotel in DB’

The chief of Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Rezaul Karim Mallik said that there will be no ‘Aynaghar’ and ‘Bhater Hotel’ in the DB office.

He said this at a press conference held at DMP Media Centre on Saturday (October 5) noon.

Rezaul Karim Mallik said, “We are making DB in such a way that people will get justice. DB office will not be a place for any hero, heroine or celebrity to pass time. There will be no ‘Bhater Hotel’. Whoever is accused will get justice. Arrested accused shall not be tortured. We want that no one gets panicked hearing the name of DB office, only criminals will be scared of the DB office.”

He further said, “I will perform my duties with integrity and professionalism as long as I serve as the head of DB.”
