Travel ban issued on ex-minister Abdur Rahman

A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdur Rahman.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Court’s Acting Judge Farzana Yasmin issued the order following a petition of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday (October 6).

ACC Deputy Director Md Anwarul Haque, submitted an application in the morning seeking a ban on the former minister to leave country.

The ACC’s public prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir was present during the hearing.
