737 killed, over 22907 injured during student-led mass uprising

Health and Family Welfare Adviser Noorjahan Begum said that at least 737 people have been killed and 22,907 injured during the student-led mass upsurge across the country.

The adviser said this while addressing a press conference at the ministry on Monday (October 7).

She said that a draft policy and a preliminary list of the injured and killed victims, have already been submitted to the ministry by the committee formed for the purpose of formulating policies for the treatment and assistance of injured persons and families across the country.

The prepared list is published in the form of public notice for public scrutiny, she added.
