Bank accounts of Inu, Bahauddin Nasim, Biplob Kumar, Taposh among 7 frozen

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) instructed banks to freeze the accounts of seven people including Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President Hasanul Haq Inu, former MP AFM Bahauddin Nasim, joint commissioner of the DMP Biplob Kumar Sarker and former mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh.
The BFIU also ordered banks and financial institutions to freeze the bank accounts of the businesses owned by these individuals.
An official at the BFIU confirmed the matter on Monday (October 7).
