20000 Italian visas expected to be issued by Dec: Foreign Adviser

Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain has hoped that problems regarding the issuance of the pending visas for the Bangladeshi workers, who are interested in going to Italy, will be resolved soon.

He said, “We have discussed the issue with the delegation of Italy and the country’s high commissioner in Dhaka. They have assured us of issuing the pending visas at the earliest. We hope that at least 20,000 visas will be issued by December this year.”

The foreign adviser made the disclosure while addressing journalists at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday (October 8).
