Travel ban issued on ex-MP Tanvir Imam, his wife

A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former lawmaker of Sirajganj-4 constituency Tanvir Imam and his wife Mahin Imam.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Ash Shams Zaglul Hossain passed the order on Tuesday (October 8) following a plea from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

ACC deputy director Mohammad Joynul Abedin filed the plea before the court, while the public prosecutor Advocate Mir Ahmed Ali Salam, representing the anti-graft body, moved the petition.
