Saber Hossain freed on bail

Former environment, forest and climate change minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury was freed from jail after securing bail in six separate cases.

He walks out of the jail from Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court around 6:25 pm on Tuesday (October 8).

Earlier, he was granted bail in six cases filed at Khilgaon and Paltan police stations, including four murder cases and two attempted murder cases.

On October 6, the detective branch (DB) of police arrested Saber Hossain, also the former Dhaka-9 lawmaker, in the capital's Gulshan.
