Abdur Rashid made new cabinet secretary

Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid was appointed as the cabinet secretary for the next two years on a contractual basis.

Public administration ministry issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday (October 8).

He will replace the outgoing cabinet secretary Md Mahbub Hossain.

His two-year service will be counted from October 14 or the day when he will join, said the notice.
