Dr Mobasser Monem new PSC chairman

Prof Dr Mobasser Monem from the Department of Public Administration at the University of Dhaka has been appointed as the new chairman of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).

Public administration ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (October 9).

He will hold the position of chairman of the PSC from the date of assuming office for a term of 5 years.

Earlier, PSC Chairman Md Sohrab Hossain and 12 other members resigned from their respective posts on Tuesday.
