Egg, onion, potato prices drop: Ministry

Egg, onion and potato prices in the market have slightly decreased, said the ministry of commerce.

A press release signed by Information Officer Abdul Malek said this on Thursday (October 10).

According to the notification, two teams of the ministry are supervising the market to keep the prices of daily necessities stable and control the market situation. During the drive, a monitoring team fined a shop owner Tk 7,000.

A team led by Deputy Secretary of the ministry of commerce Sultana Akhter conducted a drive in the capital’s Banani New Market area.
