The police boss said this while talking to journalists after visiting Ramkrishna Math and Mission in the capital on Saturday.

Mainul also assured that the National Emergency Service 999’s control room remains operational round the clock. “Whenever we are getting any negative information, we are taking action. Since 1 October, a total of 43 untoward incidents related to Durga Puja have occurred, and we have promptly responded to each case,” the IGP said.
