Mirpur-10 metro rail station is set to reopen tomorrow (Tuesday) after two months and 17 days.
Mohammad Abdur Rouf, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd, said this on Monday.
On July 19, unidentified people vandalised Mirpur-10 and Kazipara metro stations during the student-led quota reform movement, leading to suspension metro rail operation for more than a month.
The then Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that reopening the metro stations would not be possible even in one year.
Then the government took a project of Tk 350 crore to repair the two stations.
Although services resumed on August 25, both stations remained closed.
Kazipara metro station reopened on September 20. It cost Tk 20 lakh and 26 thousand to repair the station.
