Students lay siege to High Court

As per the previously made announcement, students laid siege to the High Court demanding the resignation of the fascist judges.
On Wednesday (October 16), the students reached the gate of the High Court at around 11:30 am.
However, security has already been beefed up in the surrounding areas including the High Court gate following the program.
Earlier, students started gathering at Raju sculpture from 10:30 am. Students of Dhaka University and surrounding educational institutions took position at Raju sculpture and started chanting slogans.
Then, they took out a protest procession from Raju sculpture and headed towards the High Court. Before this, the procession circled the various roads on the Dhaka University campus.
Earlier, in separate posts on their Facebook profile, Sarjis Alam and Hasnat Abdullah, two of the coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, jointly announced to lay siege to High Court, demanding resignation of ‘fascist judges’.
