Ex-State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder held

Former State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder has been arrested in a murder.

Police arrested him from a residence in the capital’s Gulshan around 2:00 am on Saturday (October 19).

Confirming the matter, Kafrul police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Golam Mostafa said that the owner of SS Agro Complex and former member of the parliament is arrested.

On August 5, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country following widespread anti-government protests. After that, Kamal Ahmed Majumdar, like other ministers, state ministers and parliamentarians, also went into hiding.
