Speech will not be stopped: ZI Khan Panna

Supreme Court senior lawyer ZI Khan Panna has said that speech will not be stopped until death.

He said this after securing an anticipatory bail from the High Court in a case filed over an allegation of attempted murder on Monday.

ZI Khan Panna will remain on bail until the filing of the probe report in the case filed. 

After getting the bail, he said, “I got the bail, but mouth and conscience will not be closed.” 

The case was filed against 180 people, including ZI Khan on allegation of injuring a youth, Ahadul Islam, during the anti-discrimination student movement on July 19. 

ZI Khan Panna said, “I am very shocked for this case, I never went to Meradia”.
