10-day remand sought for Barrister Sumon

Police sought 10-day remand for the former member of parliament (MP) Barrister Sayedul Haque Suman in an attempted murder case filed over shooting a Jubo Dal leader.

Mirpur model police station’s Sub-Inspector Abdul Halim filed the remand plea on Tuesday (October 21).

The hearing in this case will be held at Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate court.

Earlier, he was arrested from his sister’s residence in Mirpur-6 around 1:30 am today.
