Ex-EC Secretary Helaluddin Ahmed arrested 

Former Election Commission (EC) Secretary Helaluddin Ahmed has been arrested.

Police arrested him at about 5:45pm on Wednesday in Tulatali area under  Khulshi Thana in the port city Chattogram. 

Confirming the matter, Kotwali Police Station’s Officer-In-Charge (OC) Fazlul Quader Chowdhury said he has been arrested in connection with a murder case.

He is now under the custody of Kotwali Police Station.
