Salman F Rahman sent to jail after remand

Salman F Rahman, former private industry affairs adviser to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, has been sent to jail after a three-day remand in an attempted murder case filed with Dohar Police Station.
Dhaka Senior Judicial Magistrate Mustafizur Rahman passed the order on Thursday (October 24) after Sub-Inspector of Dohar Police Station Omar Faruk, also the investigating officer of the case, produced the accused before the court and pleaded to keep him behind the bars.
Earlier on October 2, the court placed Salman F Rahman on a three-day remand in a case filed over attempting to murder one Shahjahan Majhi.
