ACC summons ex-DSCC mayor Taposh

The Anti-Corruption Commission summoned former DSCC Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh for interrogation over his alleged involvement in amassing illegal wealth.

ACC deputy director (team leader) Md Monirul Islam issued a letter in this regard on Thursday (October 24).

The watchdog asked him to appear before its headquarters around 11:00 am on November 3.

The letter also said that if he fails to appear and give a statement at the appointed time, it will be considered that he has no opinion on the said complaint.

Earlier, ACC started an initial investigation against Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh on charge of amassing illegal wealth through irregularities and corruption.
