Launch services halted on various routes

The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) has suspended launch services from Dhaka to several routes.

BIWTA issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (October 24).

Due to Cyclone Dana, signal number three has been issued for the sea, while signal number 2 has been raised for river ports.

Launch services from Dhaka to Hatiya, Betua, Aishbagh, Rangabali, Char Montaz, and Khepupara have been suspended until further notice, said the notice.
