Ex-Secretary Mustafa remanded in murder case

A Dhaka court has placed Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Mustafa Kamal Uddin on a three-day remand in a murder case.

The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nazmin Akter passed the order on Friday.

Earlier, police produced him before the court and pleaded to place him a 10-day remand.

Mustafa Kamal Uddin was remanded in the case lodged over the murder of Juba Dal leader Shamim.

Detective branch (DB) police arrested Mustafa Kamal Uddin from Lalkhan Bazar area of Chattogram city on October 24.
