Barrister Suman sent to jail 

A Dhaka court on Sunday sent Barrister Sayedul Haque Sumon to jail after completing five-day remand in a case filed over an attempt to murder case.

The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Sefatuallh passed the order on Sunday (October 28).

Earlier this morning, the Investigation Officer of the case SI Abdul Halim produced him before the court and submitted an application to keep him in prison until the investigation ends.

Meanwhile, Sumon's lawyer filed a bail petition. After hearing, ordered to send him jail rejecting the bail prayer.

On October 21, Suman was arrested from Mirpur 6 for his alleged involvement in the killing of a student during the July-August student-led movement.
