Joint forces arrest 45 from capital’s Mohammadpur

The joint forces led by Bangladesh Army have arrested 45 suspected muggers, extortionists and teen gang members from the capital’s Mohammadpur.

In different drives, joint forces arrested them from Dhaka Udyan, Chand Udyan and Naboday Housing areas on Saturday night.

A press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) revealed the matter on Sunday.

The raids were conducted amid growing incidents of mugging and other criminal activities in the areas, bringing a sigh of relief to the residents of the neighbourhoods.
