Ex-IGP asked to appear before ICT, arrest warrant against 17 

International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has ordered six police officials including former IGP Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun to appear before the tribunal on November 20 next.

ICT also issued arrest warrants against 17 former police officials including former Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner Habibur Rahman Habib in a case filed over genocide committed in July-August period.

The three-member tribunal led by its chairman Justice Md Golam Motuza Mazumder passed the order on Sunday (October 27).

ICT's chief prosecutor Tajul Islam informed about the order.
