DMP files 1508 cases, fines Tk72 lakh for traffic violations

Dhaka Metropolitan Police's (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1508 cases and realized Taka 72,83,500 as fines in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.

DMP media wing confirmed the matter on Monday noon (October 28).

During the drive, a total of 123 vehicles were impounded and 48 others were towed.

The DMP media wing further said that the drive will continue to bring discipline on the streets.
