Ex-police officer Shahidul Islam at ICT

Former police officer Shahidul Islam was produced before the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) in a case filed over burning the dead bodies after killing 46 students and people during the Anti-Discrimination Movement at Ashulia in Dhaka on August 5.
He was produced before the court around 10:00 am maintaining tight security.
The three-judge ICT panel, led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder will start hearing in the case.
Earlier, he was taken to Shahbagh police station after arresting him on Wednesday night.
On October 27, the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) issued arrest warrant against 17 police officers including former DMP commissioner Habibur Rahman Habib.
